Garda lake is a historical area with many countries with lake views each with different characteristics from each ‘other. I can only suggest some of the most famous places to visit, but the great thing is find out for myself the enchanting and fascinating places:
The road of Forra and Tremosine
One of the most beautiful streets in the world. The Road of Forra the legendary SP38, is the spectacular road from Lake Garda, taking the West Gardesana, up towards the plateau of Tremosine, following the Forra carved in the rocks by the river Brasa. Made in the early years of the last century, the Route of the Ravines was immediately proclaimed one of the most beautiful in the world existing roads and even Wiston Churcill called it the eighth wonder of the world
Grotte di Catullo/Castello di Sirmione – Grotte di Catullo / Sirmione Castle
The caves and the Villa Catullo will only reach on foot walking in the center of Sirmione and follow the signs, or in the summer months you can take the electric train. The impressive “Castello Scaligero” is placed at the begin of the long strip of Sirmione penisula
Here, for the length of a drawbridge, a water arm divides the mainland to an island defense from Castle Scaligero. The Castle and its dock, still in perfect state of preservation, is a rare case of fortification intended for use port.

Cola di Lazise Villa dei Cedri
It’s a “Garda Thermal Park” with “13-hectare of natural SPA ” set among rare plants and trees, and where there are thermal lakes, swimming pools, whirlpools and fountains. The hot thermal water springs from two layers 200 and 160 meters depth

Walking on the great Visconti Bridge you can admire the Mincio river, which opens up and is channeled in ancient arms that convey the water to the large wheel of the old mills, now transformed into small reception rooms for tourists.
The Castle from the top of the hill with its towers dominates the Mincio valley; the oldest part remains the Round Tower, unique building dating from the twelfth century, while the rest of the complex dates from the fourteenth century.
Excellent cuisine, with typical dish are the tortellini of Valeggio.

The amusement park largest and most famous of Italy, with many attractions for children, but especially for adults. Very easy to reach by foot from our B&B
Caneva World and Movieland park
2 theme parks, one with water slides and water games, and another like Hollywood Studios park style, a must see.
The Italian Vittoriale is a complex of buildings, streets, squares, an outdoor theater, gardens and waterways built between 1921 and 1938, built in Gardone Riviera on the Brescia side of Garda Lake by Gabriele d’Annunzio with the help of architect Giancarlo Maroni, in memory of the “inimitable life” the poet-soldier and businesses of Italians during World war II. Often, by synecdoche, the name refers only to the house of d’ Annunzio, located within the complex.
The Vittoriale today is a foundation open to the public and visited by about 210,000 people
Places of the Battle of Solferino and San Martino della Battaglia tower
The tower stands on the highest hill of San Martino that the Sardinian army, with mixed success, won, lost and again shooting with bloody assaults and repeated charges against the Austrians.
Solferino The museum is located at the foot of the park of the castle and the adjacent park of the Church-ossuary. There are exhibited some specimens of guns, weapons, uniforms and memorabilia of the historic day of June 24, 1859
